Boiled Cod
Originally from Grandma Aagot's classic cod
Cod Scandinavian Way - serves 4 persons
Makes 4 servings
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Total time: 40 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cod fish 2-3 kg
- 1 lemon
- 5 peppercorns
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 dl melted butter
- 6 potatos
- 3 carrots
Instructions
- Prepare your potatos and put to boil
- Clean and cut the carrots in rondels, add to potato pan
- prepare a pan with 3 liters of water
- Clean and gut the fish
- Cut the fish in cotlets
- Cut the lemon in 4 parts and put 2 parts in the water
- Add peppercorns and salt and turn up the heat
- Melt the butter
- When water boils use a sieve to add your fish cotlets
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until fish is white
- Serve the fish immediately direfct from pan with the potatos and carrots. Add melted butter and some lemon on fish. Enyoj!

This plate can be accompanied by harricots verts or other vegetables.
